This was great!

On the flip side, our third was not planned. We talked about it and decided we were happy with our two boys. They were getting older and we were out of the baby stage. We felt we were just beginning to regain our strength and didn’t want another baby.

Then the “accident" happened.

There is a mix of sadness for what was to come, because we didn’t want to be up in the middle of the night doing feedings and changing diapers and all the other stuff that comes with the baby. But also joy! Because kids are amazing and we love kids.

On top of all that, my wife has awful pregnancies. So we knew it was going to be 9 months of sickness while also trying to take care of two toddlers. The reality of what was in front of us zapped much of the excitement.

Fast forward 4 years, and now our daughter is my favorite. LOL

What we didn’t plan, and were actively trying to prevent, is one of the greatest things that’s ever happened in our lives.

God had a plan and knew this little girl needed to be in the world. We just had to get over ourselves.
