Wow. This totally got me this morning. My family has gone through a lot of healing over the years. So much of it happened recently as it feels like getting married and having my own children, and my siblings getting married, was a catalyst to our parents having to face some things.

As the next generation, we have become the reset button for patterns of the generations before us. But most importantly for my family, it’s not just me and my siblings breaking patterns. The generation before us (parents, aunts/uncles) is willing to work on themselves as well and not simply concede that their time for emotional and relational health has passed.
